Some may think I “pick” on Ellis too much.  At the surface it could appear somewhat psycho I’ll admit.  We need to realize though that Tim Ellis wanted and became a certain type of political figure long ago.  The way I rag on Ellis is basically the same way others do about the president.  He wanted the handle of Theft Avenger Emperor and got it, by his own design.

Really if I had my way we’d just all gather ’round and talk card magic here openly.  Of course by our arts nature this can not really be so.  Sometimes I write about things that inspire me, things that make me angry, disappointment etc.  That’s the point of a personal blog vs. a news blog.

Ellis really has been caught with his dick in his hands in public this time.  You’d almost think he’d man up and publically apologize that his actions were hypocritical.  Problem is he can’t swallow his pride and be a man.  I made a simple mistake a couple of weeks ago and apologized immensely and corrected it.  To err is human, but I really don’t think Ellis quite understands fully he should apologize officially to the public rather than try and make excuses.  The judges made a poor choice this round….so be it.   Life goes on.  Problem is a theatrical piece that was done earlier by another was awarded a grand prize.  He fucked up and now should be a hypocrite to everyone.  Peggy Sue, with Buddy Glasses and a cups and balls routine is indeed in the same realm as what Russ is pointing at.  Yet for some odd reason some will defend Shawn’s act.

I pretty much stated the same at Itricks not long ago and got this request:

Take The Money And Run

We can all breathe a sigh of relief. Cory Chapin has just posted notice on the Magic Cafe that he is closing his Artistic Street Magic project in order to devote full time to his religious endeavors. Magic is saved. I’ll assume that the Lord can take care of him/herself.

I should remind all what that meant to our other pal with an imaginary friend Justin Miller.  Hopefully this idiot will really disappear.  I called this guy out from the beginning.  I think he took the money and ran frankly.  We had a viewing of one of his videos at my friends house, which I did not mention on those first posts.  It was very obvious Cory has mental problems and “lives in a magical religious world”.  The truly unsettling factor was that so many supported Cory at the Magic Cafe.  The video was entitled “Alive!”.  I can’t even begin to express our rage in watching this piece of shit.  For ten minutes he was ranting about how Jesus saved his life from being bi-polar and was showing hand outs of the Mt. Ararat bullshit.  This has been debunked so many times it makes my head spin.  None the less these people not only want to believe it’s “the” arc, they need to believe it.

With that the real deal that made us a piping hot pot of piss and vinegar is he just used the bill fold trick we all know, but used a playing card instead.  It became fairly obvious also he has no REAL background in magic, but was just an amateur thinking he’s ahead of  the game enough to sell items to others.  Even worse this guy made the claims that god gives him these ideas.  The guy is a total scammer hiding behind religion.  No offense to anyone that bought his crap, but we told you so.  I may ask my friend to post some of the video under “fair usage” rights for you all to see.

ABC Ya Nut Bar.  I hope myself, and as the Beatles said “A little help from my friends” took your shit shack down.
