Bram’s Cube

I thought this was pretty innovative.  Back in the day I was pretty good with a Rubix and those that get addicted know what a fun puzzle it really is.  I think this adds an interesting twist.  This thing is 350 bucks unfortunately or I’d be picking one up.

As a side note Bram Cohen invented Bit Torrent also.

===============================================================

Hello,

Would you be interested in an affiliate partnership with Ellusionist.com – a leading online retailer of products that help magic enthusiasts learn new tricks?

We are prepared to pay 8% in commissions for every sale you bring. This is increased to 10% once your monthly sales exceed $1000, and 12% for $2500 or more. If you can send in over $5000, we will be ready to negotiate a private commission level.

A selection of banners, coupons and a datafeed are all available for you to promote our products. Tracking is fully handled by a third party, and payments can be made either by check or by a direct deposit into your bank account. There is a choice of two networks, either ShareASale or Pepperjam.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Nick Prussakov

Hello,

I recently inquired about partnering with your website. Since there has been no reply, I would like to check whether you have received my email.

Your website’s traffic could be monetized if you were to promote Ellusionist.com – a leading online retailer of products that help magic enthusiasts learn new tricks.

We are willing to pay 8% in commissions for every sale you bring. This is increased to 10% once your monthly sales exceed $1000, and 12% for $2500 or more. If you send in over $5000, we can negotiate a private commission.

Very much looking forward to your reply.

Best regards,

Nick Prussakov,

I find it rather odd you would ask a site with the nature of DeadMagicians to be an affiliate.  I don’t find it ironic that when I checked search results on the dates the letter was sent and the term “Ellusionist” was used in the search bar.  Even though I’m avidly, (if not a little crazy) about supporting proper REAL magic shops, you were not hesitant to send your affiliate copy/ paste to my Email.  Thus.  Even a site that makes posts like “Justin Miller Sucks Satan’s Greasy Cock” you still pursued.  Hey!  As long as you can get your little corporate sign on others peoples site, who cares eh?

Instead of beating around the bush I will put up your little banner on these terms.

-15 percent on every sale made (I don’t receive a dime)
-50 percent of every sale will go to Tam Shepard’s in Glasgow to Roy Walton/and or his wife or daughters
-The other 50 percent go to Denny Haney at the Denny And Lee Magic Studio in Las Vegas/Baltimore
-I can still rip on your magic factory and it’s products at my leisure
-Anyone that links to this blog get the same terms

Sadly even though you work at a so called magic seller, the heart beat of our past is in the traditional style magic shop.  Shepard’s was founded in 1886 and has the best damned living magician in the world behind it’s counters.  Just to give a perspective that was the year the first gas powered car was patented.  Denny’s place is about the equivalent as walking into a magician Disney Land, full of books that are hard to find, and staff that are there everyday teaching and interacting one on one on a daily basis .

Now we have magic factories like Ellusionist.  Cold, lifeless ententes of the modern world with dollar signs in their eyes and no respect or care on the virtues of what makes the newer generation of magicians blossom….real interaction.

Thus with the slowly dying real magic shop, due to trendy demos, mass advertising, mostly weak product, and probably the worst of all, pulling beginners away from classics and entrancing them with an almost addictive nature of new hype…. I will go down to your level as long as you support the people you are destroying.  15 percent is the least you can do.

As if.  None the less it was fun to imagine for a little bit.  Compare what this person says about Denny, then scroll down a couple of posts of how Black’s Magic and that ass hat James L. Clark do business (whom Tim Ellis supports as an always reminder).

Denny is the real deal!!!

You walk in or call his shop and you always receive no B.S. and no fluff. Denny and his staff are phenomenal!!!

Why would you shop anywhere else? From time to time I may find a novel item elsewhere, but 99% of my entertainment supplies come from Denny.

I walked in to his shop in Baltimore a few weeks ago and was prepared to purchase a book for $150.00, Denny asked why I wanted this book and upon his review of my cause, he suggested that I purchase another book in place of the one I had cash in hand to buy for $150.00. The twist here is that the other book that Denny sold me on only cost $35.00.

Guaranteed that 99.9% of all magic dealers are just this, dealers and all they consider is their bottom line. Denny takes you and your future as a quality entertainer seriously, considering you and your bottom line (guess who gets my repeat business)!

That's A Magic Store Worth Supporting

Just a heads up that this isn’t at all what the guy claims.  It’s a Cull and a Reverse.  Verified by friends and someone finally verified this on the Cafe.  I had forgotten to keep an eye on it over the past month, but I was very suspicious.

For you guys still waiting for some “miracle” of the same effect using no ID, I stand ground that Michael Close’s version using a regular deck is the done deal.  In many ways it’s the most logical, same as what Alvo claimed from a shuffled deck.  None the less the difference is that Mike’s method isn’t for retards.

If your still not into Mike’s way of ungaffed ID, there is a fairly easy yet brilliant method of a named triumph in…..yet again….Walton’s book (Named Card Shuffle, Vol. 2).  Different effects that can mostly achieve the same auras.

One More….Yo!

If anyone has ever seen this video….you know.  Face to face Shapeshifter is in there!  Easily in the top 5 worst videos ever.  Yoooooooo!   Woooooot!  Underground ya’ll.  James L Clark is a bitch yo!  Word em up Wiggz.  I’m outie.

but truth to be spoken, I was pretty much feeling waisting my time watching it. Mr. Fields decided to dress up a couple of uninspired tricks with hip hop music, pseudo-artistic picture colors and movie like titles.
Guess, we all want to be cool . . .
